Accor Hotels opens 1100th Hotel in Asia Pacific…

Accor Hotels has opened its 1100th hotel in the Asia Pacific, with the launch of the new Sofitel Beijing Central in China. Basically, Accor Hotels is a French multinational hospitality company which owns franchises and manages hotels, resorts and vacation properties. The President/Director General of Accor Hotels is Sebastien Bazin.

Michael Issenberg, Chairman and CEO of Accor Hotels in Asia Pacific, on the launch occasion of hotel, said, “We have had a record six months since announcing our 1100th hotel with the Pullman Tokyo Tamachi late last year and it’s incredible to think that we have added another 100 hotels already since then, Sofitel Beijing Central will be a great addition to our network in China and will become one of the premier luxury hotels in the city of Beijing”.

The new hotel is located in the heart of the city’s civic and diplomatic area. The Forbidden City, the National Museum of China, Tiananmen Square and the National Grand Theatre all are within easy reach from the hotel. It will feature 345 luxury rooms with Sofitel Club floors which will provide circular bathtubs and easy access to the brand new Club Millesime Lounge, which will open in the end of this year. Sofitel Beijing Central includes an all-day dining restaurant which is attached to an outdoor garden, which focuses on international and western cuisine with a unique French twist; a signature Chinese restaurant; and a lobby lounge, which provides afternoon tea and evening cocktails.

Sofitel Beijing Central of Beijing has more than 1500 square meters of event space including nine flexible meeting rooms which can easily accommodate up to 400 delegates. The recreational facilities include a day spa, fitness center and a stunning indoor pool are also present in this hotel.
