Bangalore, 20 June 2019: Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park is delighted to welcome Chef Ajay Khanna as the newly appointed Executive Chef. An expert in the culinary space, Chef Ajay has consistently set industry benchmarks to high standards of fine dining in India. He has been a part of the industry for over 17 years. A maverick in the space, he has closely watched the food and beverage industry turn into a culinary paradise. From the day one, Chef Ajay has always been poised to bring in a change in the hospitality industry.

Chef Ajay’s passion for creating delightful food and presenting it in a simple yet authentic style, gained him enduring popularity. The exposure and learnings he has over all these years has enabled him to experiment and curate signature dishes that established him as a name to reckon with in the industry.

He began his career with properties like ITC Mughal Sheraton, Agra; Jaypee Place, Agra; Le Meridien, Jaipur; Soy, Dubai; The Westin, Sohna-Gurgaon, Resort & Spa; Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Sahibabad; Park Plaza, Chandigarh; Ramada Gurgaon Central, Gurgaon; Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Bhiwadi; Le Meridien, Kochi and Courtyard Marriott, Kochi before joining Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park. Chef has also been a part of the pre-openings of properties like Le Meridien, Jaipur; Soy, Dubai; The Westin, Sohna-Gurgaon, Resort & Spa; Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Sahibabad; Park Plaza, Chandigarh and Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Bhiwadi.

Chef has won many accolades and appreciations; one among the many is for his outstanding support for the grand opening of ‘J4U’- an associate dining room; Awarded a certificate for Food Hygiene Training in Soy Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Certificate for Food Safety & Microbiology – Regulatory Prospective at CDMS Office, New Delhi and has also been a part of the judging panel for Kerala Culinary Challenge 2016.
