Amway India is all set to promote safe, healthy food among children

Country’s largest direct selling FMCG company Amway India, has undertaken an initiative to spread and improve awareness on safe and nutritious food at the school-level through adoption of FSSAI’s ‘Safe & Nutritious food (SNF@school)’ program.

The main objective behind this initiative is to reach out to more than 2,00,000 school-going children across 100 schools in the National Capital Region. The target is to create awareness on food safety and nutrition at school level and facilitate easy learning for children. Students will be taught about the benefits of nutritious food through interactive awareness sessions.

This programme is a powerful tool to ingrain the benefits of eating well in school-going children who are the future of our society. We believe food security along with a safe, healthy food environment is the right of every child and the foundation for a healthy nation”, said Anshu Budhraja, CEO, Amway India.

Apart from this Amway India supports various CSR programme covering a range of initiatives. One of the key project ‘Sunrise’ supports underprivileged children in education, health and hygiene in 15 locations across India. Amway India has been awarded with the ‘CSR Leadership Summit & Award’ in the category of ‘Promoting Employment for Specially-abled’. The company was recently awarded the ‘Great Place to Work 2017’ in recognition for the outstanding workplace culture, as well as the ‘Best HR practices’ in quality of life and ‘Managing Health at work’ by Times Ascent Asia-Pacific HRM Congress.
