At a glance, it’s easy to see where Aura gets its inspiration from – the Mediterranean philosophy of good food, good wine and family. It was conceptualised to give patrons an exceptional dining experience alongside a plethora of entertainment options, right in the heart of South Goa!

Staying true to its Mediterranean roots, Aura is done up in the style of a bar lounge with generous splashes of white and blue. Artistically divided into three sections, there’s an indoor seating area, an outdoor section dotted with a string of quaint cabanas and tents, and a single malt lounge called the Liquid Library stocked with the finest tipples in the state – whiskey lovers will be particularly thrilled by their single malt library, almost certainly the finest in Goa! Ideas for the interiors came from various places, with the partners themselves doing most of the heavy lifting! With all of 3,000 sq. mt. at your disposal decked with a gorgeous shimmering pool and well-manicured lawns to add the charm, Aura has all the makings of being the perfect venue for all your celebrations, accommodating up to 500 guests.

What truly makes this bistro stand out is its uncompromising commitment to serving their guests the highest quality food – the meat they use is hormone-free and all their ingredients are organic! While the cuisine is largely Mediterranean, Italian and Continental, the chefs have done a wonderful job of subtly infusing the dishes with comforting Goan flavours. With a flurry of wholesome ingredients such as whole grains, fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices, beans, nuts, seeds, meat, olive oil and several more at their disposal, Aura has put together recipes that tick just about every box on the healthy and tasty front. The Grilled Beef Steak Mignon brings to you a prime cut of meat served on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes, fresh mesclun greens and a rich Gorgonzola sauce. Melding Italian flavours with some truly Goan ones is the Risotto con Goan Chorizo, arborio rice slow cooked with farm Goan chorizo and topped with melted Parmesan cheese.

If your day needs some protein goodness, the Chicken Saltimbocca has you covered. Featuring a tender chicken breast stuffed with mozzarella and spinach, it is then simmered in dry white wine and butter and served alongside a rustic freshly made tomato sauce. The Cottage Cheese Steak offers you a bit of vegetarian indulgence with grilled pieces of the softest cottage cheese served with a creamy tomato sauce and roasted seasonal vegetables to add a pop of colour to your plate. Culinary extravagance takes on a whole new form with the Polenta Mushroom Ragout, a saffron tinted Italian cornmeal preparation with mushrooms and melted Taleggio cheese added to the mix.

A meal without dessert is only half complete – the Chocolate Hazelnut Crunchy Mousse will take you to culinary heaven and is a worthy ending to any feast. This delightful confection of softly prepared chocolate mousse is dotted with air bubbles for a light, airy dessert that comes together on a bed of fine chocolate crumbs.
