Celebrate Summer with Foodhall’s Mango Mela

Summer is in full swing and as the weather heats up, cool down with a series of delectable and refreshing mango offerings, available exclusively at Foodhall.

The gourmet superstore will celebrate the King of Fruit with a Mango Mela on May 25 and 26, at its Linking Road branch. Shoppers will be greeted by a lush mango market on every floor of the store.

At the Fruits & Vegetables section, shoppers will be able to sample six different types of mangoes, including organic Ratnagiri Alphonso mangoes, straight from the farms. The tasting will include mixed mango chunks; mango on sticks, paired with different salts; and raw mango salsa.

At the store’s World of Cheese (lower ground floor), patrons can sample summer cheeses paired with refreshing mango.

KC Roasters will introduce a series of mango-based popsicles, just for the season, which can be paired with their range of coffees.

At Xoco 57, Foodhall’s in-house brand of single-origin, handcrafted chocolate, guests can try chocolate bark made with dried mango and fresh mint.

For the sweet toothed, Foodhall’s Cake Shop will offer freshly-baked offerings like fresh mango tart; fresh mango eclairs; and mango pastry.

The demo counter on the ground floor will serve up delicious drinks including the mango passion fruit cooler; mango turmeric smoothie; and a mango chia cooler.

At the elegant The House of Tea (THT) tea salon, customers can enjoy a decadent mango tart, and even mango-flavoured tea.

Just for the season, popular pastry brand La Folie is offering Foodhall customers ‘Imperial,’ a delectable pastry made of mango yuzu cremeux, chiffon pistachio sponge, pistachio gianduja praline, vanilla lemon zest pannacotta and fresh mango cubes.

Lastly, diners at Sorrentina, Foodhall’s Italian restaurant, will enjoy offering like fresh mango gelato; and mango-flavoured Stracciatella toast.
