Coronavirus Outbreak: Schools, Colleges and Cinema Halls are closed till March 31 in Delhi

The Government of Delhi has now declared Covid-19 (coronavirus) an epidemic and taken all the positive measures to avoid the virus from spreading further in the territory. Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal made an announcement regarding the virus last night. The major decision was taken after the number of virus-infected cases increased very quickly not in the country but across the globe. Previously, the WHO (World Health Organization) also declared this virus a global epidemic.

The Government of Delhi, in the announcement, mentioned that all schools and colleges, including those that are over with examinations, will also remain completely shut till March 31 2020. The government is also preparing itself for the worst and has decided to increase the number of beds in hospitals. This will help them to tackle the outbreak of deadly virus situation more effectively. As per the government, it is all geared up with more than 500 beds in different hospitals in Delhi to fight against the virus. The Government is already taken precautions and has asked the officials to sanitize all public places including both government and private offices. This will also include all retail shops and malls on a regular basis of Delhi.
