Courtyard by Marriott Agra appointed Anshul Sharma as Hotel Manager

Courtyard by Marriott Agra announced the appointment of Anshul Sharma as Hotel Manager. In his current role, Anshul will be seen effectuating strategies to support business growth, revenue generation through up-selling of products and services and creation of value through designing new products for the hotel.

Anshul is a passionate hotelier with sixteen years of experience in hospitality. He brings an entrepreneurial outlook to his work and strongly believes in building a competent, cohesive team for achieving business goals along with an effectual stakeholder management and leadership style.

His journey with Marriott International started in 2005 from Front Office operations at Renaissance Mumbai Hotel & Convention Center, later transitioned to Sales & Marketing and grew into the leadership roles at Courtyard by Marriott Bhopal as Director of Sales then at Jaipur Marriott as Director of Sales & Marketing where with his strong business acumen he had been instrumental in various achievements like substantial % growth in Revpar, Room and Catering Revenue. The next tenure was at Le Meridien Gurgaon, Delhi NCR as Director of Operations where the hotel was ranked No. 1 in guestVoice, ITR across Le Meridien Brands in India and contributed in Positive GOP throughout 2020 despite the pandemic.

He is a graduated from Mumbai University in Commerce. On personal front he is a tennis enthusiast, a certified scuba diver, an avid trekker and has an immense inclination towards the Himalayas who has set his heart on reaching Everest base camp in future. In Agra, he will be joined by wife Sara.
