Courtyard by Marriott launched in Siliguri

Marriott International announced the launch of ‘Courtyard by Marriott’ at Siliguri, nearly 600 kms from Kolkata. This will be Marriott’s second hotel in West Bengal, the first in the eastern India and seventeenth in South Asia.

In 2016, the luxury hotel chain inaugurated its Kolkata property under the ‘JW Marriott’ brand.

Comprising of 130 rooms, the Siliguri property will have modern meeting and conference facilities, and a variety of dining options.

Courtyard by Marriott Siliguri general manager Rohit Bajpai said, the hotel will cater to guests from the entire North Bengal, Sikkim, the North eastern states and neighbours Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh.

The property is located near popular attractions including the Hong Kong Market, ISCKON Temple, Salugara Monastery and the Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary. With its picturesque location supported by warm personalised service and a host of facilities, Courtyard by Marriott Siliguri is expected to become the most preferred hotel for travellers to the city, the company release stated.
