Culinary and Mixology competition @ FHW, Bengaluru.

Culinary and Mixology competition was organised for nascent chefs and mixologists at the Food and Hospitality (FHW) show in Bengaluru. FHW is one of India’s largest professional trade shows for trade and consumers in the food and hospitality industry.

Image result for Culinary and Mixology competition @ FHW, Bengaluru.with logoThe competition was structured in accord with the ‘South India Culinary Challenge and Baking Contest’ and ‘Mixology Challenge’ in association with the South India Culinary Association (SICA).

The main purpose of this event was to underline the distinctiveness of U.S. finest Agricultural Products in the Indian HRI Industry. The products are namely Washington Apples, U.S. Cranberries, USA Pears, U.S. Pecans and California Walnuts.

The Cranberry Marketing Committee (CMC) USA is focused on promoting the use and consumption of cranberries worldwide.

The show got a start with Adam Branson, senior Agricultural Attaché for Agricultural Affairs, U.S. Consulate General, Mumbai and other dignitaries. Adam Branson also inaugurated the U.S. Premium Agricultural Products display booth.

55 chefs and mixologists across South India participated in the event. They prepared recipes using the premium U.S. Premium Agricultural Products as the main ingredients.

“India is an important market for us and we strive to bring in the best products to our discerning consumers. This show is a wonderful opportunity for our target audience to taste and experience a wide range of U.S. Premium Agricultural Products,” said Adam Branson.

T Haokip and Sai Venkata Vijaya from Bar Square Bangalore were the winners. The winning creations were Berry Blash Martini and Enlighten Moon.
