About SUCHI

The Oslo-born, London-bred and Delhi-influenced, SUCHI is a resident DJ on Boxout.fm and the host of ’Through The Smog’. Aiming to converge her cultural backgrounds into one seamless pièce de résistance, SUCHI’s varied selections explore her growing taste in global electronic music, bringing just the right touch of groove music into play with disco, hip hop and jazz stylings peppered into her mixes.

SUCHI keeps the dancefloor on their toes with considered floor fillers, dark moods and sounds that stay true to her roots. Now delving into production, the London-based DJ is prepped and ready with a bag of personal favourites,
spanning a breadth of dance, world and club music.

About Dreamstates

Patently undaunted by the limitations of genre, Mumbai-based dreamstates’ approach to music selection is but a natural furtherance of his wide listening habits, habits that have been in a state of positive flux for nearly two decades. That he would make for one of the Indian underground’s in-demand DJs this early into his professional career would have been a cautious punt even for an 18-year-old Dharam Saraviya circa 2007 as he cut his teeth playing rhythm guitar in thrash and punk bands.

Time spent in the erstwhile Indian punk rock scene and then finally as a long- term working hand behind some of India’s most iconic musical gatherings, dreamstates’ unique position has allowed for a window into both sides of the contemporary music divide.

A deep curiosity and a ravenous thirst for musical knowledge guides his hands on the ones-and-twos, and whether it’s lo-fi breakbeats, electro, garage or acid oozing out through the speakers, the unique signature of a dreamstates
performance invariably breaks through the mix.

As a resident DJ on Boxout.FM, India’s only online community radio station devoted to alternative music, dreamstates hosts a monthly show titled ‘Cosmic Claps’. Having burst onto the scene in 2017, he’s had the opportunity to share the console with some of his heroes – Auntie Flo, Mosca, DJ Stingray and Baba Stiltz – to name a few. And with appearances at Echoes of Earth festival, A Day of Slick and Boxout Weekender, he’s on his way to
becoming a regular on the festival circuit.

About Farhan Rehman

Farhan Rehman is a 26-year old artist from Mumbai known for his groovy music productions and beat-driven sets featuring unconventional multi-cultural elements.

Classically trained in the piano, Farhan’s understanding of varied musical styles and his ability to imbibe different genres in his own mixes makes him an obvious choice for anybody looking for a unique sound like no other.

Farhan first broke into the scene when his remix of Josh Wink’s iconic track ‘Balls’ was chosen for an official release by the popular music producer on his label Ovum Records. Soon after, his productions were released on top record labels like Dutchie Music (US), Wind Horse Records (IN), Deep Motion (RUS), and the afore-mentioned Ovum Records (US), to name a few. Supported by leading industry figure Nick Warren, Farhan’s single ‘One Shot Finch’ made it to TraxSource’s list of Top 100 Deep House Tracks of Oct 2016.

2017 saw the release of ‘Khwatta Ceremony’, the popular track resulting from Farhan’s collaboration with Stalvart John. Khwatta Ceremony was supported by big guns like Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, and Eelke Kleijn along with many others from the local DJ community.

Farhan currently holds a residency at Hakkasan Mumbai and (Terttulia Mumbai) and has also played in popular Indian venues like Antares (Goa), Club Nook (Mumbai), Double Decker (Bangalore), Kitty Su (Mumbai), and Summer House Cafe (Mumbai), amongst others. His influences include legends like The Prodigy, Sasha, BT, Jimpster, and Axwell.

Apartfrom his solo artistic pursuits, he has also been involved in scoring music for commercial and Indie films, and has also been featured by 94.3 Radio One – India’s only English radio station.

With a slew of releases lined up this year, this young powerhorse is definitely one to keep an eye on!
