DoubleTree by Hilton Goa-Panaji has appointed Mr. Amar Albuquerque as Director of Rooms.

With 10 years’ of experience across a multitude of hotel brands, Amar Albuquerque brings in expertise in room division refined in new hotel openings. Before joining DoubleTree by Hilton Goa Panaji, he was associated with Novotel Goa Hotels & Resorts as Rooms Division Manager.

In his new role, Mr. Albuquerque will be heading front office department, housekeeping department and recreation. On the occasion, Mr. Amar Albuquerque, Director of Rooms, DoubleTree by Hilton Goa Panaji, said, “I am thrilled to have begun this new journey. Hilton has set standards of being the most promising brand to work with, I am sure this hotel and the people would contribute to my holistic growth and professional development. I hope to create a motivating impact on the team and build a strong foundation for the hotel.”

On the new appointment, Melville John, General Manager, DoubleTree by Hilton Goa Panaji, said, “We are extremely pleased to have Mr. Amar Albuquerque on board with us.
