DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Bangalore Appoints Tanmoy Majumder as Executive Chef

Tanmoy Majumder has been appointed as the Executive Chef at DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Bangalore. Having spent two decades in the hospitality industry, Tanmoy possesses extensive culinary knowledge in International cuisine and has an innovative approach to setting the stage for a customized dining experience.

Prior to joining DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Bangalore, Tanmoy worked at The Lalit Golf and Spa Resort Goa. As an Executive Chef, he was responsible for the culinary operations and was primarily involved in curating unique dining experiences for 6 food and beverage outlets. He began his career at Hyatt Regency New Delhi as a Commis for TK’s- a Japanese Restaurant. Since then he has worked effortlessly to become a crucial asset to every hotel he has worked with.

He was a part of the Pre-Opening team of Hyatt Regency Kolkata, Lemon tree Hyderabad and Cinnamon Restaurant and Lounge as Head Chef and was also involved in the transition period when ISTA Amritsar was renamed as Hyatt Amritsar Punjab.

In his new role, Chef Tanmoy will be responsible for overseeing smooth functioning of the F&B outlets and managing culinary operations at the hotel. Armed with a Diploma degree in Hotel Management from IHM Bhubaneswar and numerous other professional trainings, Chef Tanmoy’s major focus is to create incredible dining experiences for his guests through exclusive Food Festivals that incorporate super foods and vegan options.

Given his busy schedule, Tanmoy likes to spend time with his children in his spare time and also enjoys kite flying.
