IHE – Hyderabad Witnessed a 22% Business Growth
The 4th edition of India HoReCa Expo (IHE) organised by the Synergy Exposures – concluded successfully in Hyderabad on 16th November 2019 with around 20% growth in visitor footfalls.
Attendees had the opportunity to get a first hand view of top of the line products & interact with solution providers and project heads within the HORECA industry (Hotel/Restaurant/Catering), who shed light on India’s business and market share of the Food & Beverage, Bakery, Commercial Kitchen and Refrigeration Equipments, Housekeeping, Hospitality Technology & Interior Designs, Retail Food Services and more.
The expo was inaugurated by Mr Venket Reddy, President, TSHA . Guests of Honour included – Mr.Ashok Reddy, President Greater Hyderabad Hotel Association and Mr.Purushothama Reddy Joint Secretary THRA. Special Guests – Chef Lamba – Executive Chef ITC & President and Mr. Ravinder Pal Srinivastava Corporate Housekeeper ITC Hotels in India were also amongst the august gathering.
IHE was marked by the presence of buyers from major hotels, restaurants, catering, food retailers chains and companies. The expo attracted a lot of interest from Hotel Owners, Consultants, Department heads, food retail sector that included food importers, distributors, modern traders, food ecommerce companies etc and helped to source the right products. It helped International and Domestic brands to target the right audience and the rapidly growing HORECA market.
Mr. Ashok Reddy apprised participants on how the demand for food and beverages had increased corresponding to the growth of the Indian population and the economy. He explained the potential that platforms like IHE 19 provided for India’s Food, Hospitality and Tourism Industry enabling them to establish business opportunities in Asia, as it connects International Brands with the largest gathering of decision makers and end users in India.
Overall the 4th edition of India HoReCa Expo 2019 from 14th to 16th November witnessed a 22% growth in Hospitality Business compared to the previous years. considering the trend, Ssynergy exposures have planned to include more segments into this trade fair to extend the choice of products to the attendees.
IHE 2019 witnessed interactive sessions such as :
Master Class on Andhra Cuisine (TCA ): by Chen Naveen of Tatva. he demonstration helped culinary professionals from other regions to acquire in depth knowledge on ingredients and cooking style specific to Andhra
Master Class on Hyderabad Cuisine (TCA): By Chef Rizwan enlightened young chefs on how to take the rich tradition of Nizami cuisine forward
THE PURCHASE ROUND TABLE (HPMF): focused on understanding what’s new in the market and was well represented by the members from North & South of India.
Demonstration On Modern Chocolate Bonbons Techniques: was Presented by Chef Arvind Prasad of white caps Bangalore.This session was a eye opener to trending presentation techniques
The IHE 19 concluded with the felicitation of Food, Beverage & Hospitality professionals and enthusiasts. The City of Nawabs & Kebabs valued the efforts of the Hospitality fraternity.
