Fire training organized at Novotel hotels & resorts Goa along with the Fire service department, Pilerne

On the observance of the fire service week, Novotel Hotels & Resorts Goa conducted a fire safety training along with the Fire service department, Pilerne for around 50 of its employees on the 17th April 2019.

Mr. Andrew Lobo, Pilerne Fire station in charge of along with his colleagues gave an enriching classroom training about fire, its classes, types of extinguishers and the importance of fire & life safety. The classroom training sessions was further magnified with a practical demonstration on fire fighting. The purpose of the practical session was to familiarize all attendees on how to fight fire and use different extinguishers.

Mr. Satish Mahale, Security manager- Novotel Goa resorts & spa and Novotel Goa Shrem hotel also conducted a mock fire drill and evacuation couple of days prior to the training to enforce emergency preparedness of both hotels.
