Flavours from North-West Frontier Province at Café G

If your taste buds are craving for some real rustic and earthy flavours, head to Café G, all-day dining restaurant at Crowne Plaza Today Gurugram and attend the North-West Frontier Food Festival. Curated by Executive Chef Nishesh Seth, the food menu is an ensemble of delectable dishes from the bygone era of Baluchistan, Peshawar and Sindh region. The rich and a lavish spread of buffet consists of star dishes such as Burrah kebab, Mutton Rezala, Chapli kebab, Sikandari Raan, Seekh Kebab and Sarsaon ka saag, Afghani Korma, Dal Baluchi, Kashmiri Dum Aloo.

According to Executive Chef Nishesh Seth, “North-West Frontier cuisine plays with the flavours of meat with very basic spices. The dishes are prepared in the ‘tandoors’ which bestows rustic and Smokey flavours to them. Another interesting aspect of their cooking is the adaptability of vegetables. If Chapli or Seekh Kebab is popular so is the Dahi ke kebab, Soya seekh.

Fun Fact: It is believed that Kebabs were the origination of this province.
