Future Consumer appoints Rajnikant Sabnavis as chief executive

Kishore Biyani-led Future Group company Future Consumer has named former Jyothy Labs chief operating officer Rajnikant Sabnavis as its new chief executive officer, effect January 1, 2020.

Prior to Jyothy Labs, Sabnavis was with consumer goods giant HUL for over two decades. He has been named as Future Consumer’s dedicated chief executive after Devendra Chawla quit from the position over two years back.

Future Consumer’s private brands across personal care and foods include Tasty Treat snacks, Voom fabric care, Dreamery dairy, Mother Earth organic staples and Kara for personal care.

For the quarter ended September 30 2019, Future Consumer reported a net sales increase of 10.85% to Rs 1,120 crore compared to Rs 1,011 crore in the corresponding year-ago period, and a consolidated net loss of Rs 16.75 crore.
