Guitar Workshop with Floyd Fernandes at Fun Republic Social

About Floyd Fernandes: 
Floyd Francisco Fernandes is a Mumbai based guitar/music educator who uses a lateral and creative approach to teach. These approaches are based on a cognitive understanding of the instrument and to appreciate the symmetries that it makes available to a player. Rather than focusing on just masses of theory, he teaches fretboard geometry and music harmony in a way that even a young child can grasp and use. This method can help educate players of all levels as it is a progressive system that grows with the musician. He has run over 400 clinics doing the same in all parts of the country and runs an educational page online as well. 
The emphasis is on learning how to use the syntax of harmony to compose, write and understand the music of all genres. This is an interactive session and requires participants to carry an acoustic guitar, a notebook, and a pen along with an open mind. It is also open to musicians who play other instruments like piano, bass, flute etc.
