Heineken presents the Sisterhood Soiree- an Initiative by India Nightlife Convention and Awards

Mumbai, Thursday 8th March 2019: Sisterhood Soiree is an initiative by India Nightlife Convention and Awards to recognize and empower women in nightlife and hospitality. The event will be hosted at themuch-toutedd Lord of the Drinks at Kamala Mills on 7Th March 2019. The soiree will be the first platform specifically designed to bring female industry leaders and aspiring women under one roof with an ultimate aim to increase female participation in the industry. With women contributing a substantial amount at every level in the nightlife domain, it is imperative to bestow recognition and allow this energy to transform the hospitality sector. The Sisterhood Soiree, an event hosted by women, for women and of the women will be hosted for the same reason. It will take place in Mumbai followed by Delhi and Bengaluru.

The India Nightlife Convention and Awards (INCA), the intellectual joint project of Aman Anand and Riyaaz Amlani has made a splash ever since its conception in 2016.Ever since its launch, INCA has strived to make the night life a better experience in India. It has ushered in a new age of bar and party life by introducing better and fresher encounters for its key demographic. INCA has been doing the same by creating a great information exchange platform that lets the experts around India meet and recognize potential brands and new talent.

Furthering the cause of INCA and in recognition of the massive talent pool in the nightclub Industry, Mr. Rahul Singh, the President of NRAI (National Restaurant Association of India) states that “With Sisterhood Soiree, we aim to build an interactive platform for the women in the hospitality and nightlife who play an integral part in the growth of the industry. With Indian women chefs like Garima Arora being recognised internationally, it’s a great initiative started by INCA.

Women offer a crisp perspective to the plethora of services under the bar and nightlife industry. Bartending, DJ, Media and Events, Food, Live Bars etc have women pioneers that have radically changed the business. Sisterhood Soiree, an event first of its kind will host panel discussions with women who have made strides in the business followed by a party also managed by women.

The Sisterhood Soiree stands to empower, encourage and nurture the women in the nightlife and hospitality industry. It is also a special step taken by INCA to ensure safety of Women in the nightlife industry. The same will be displayed by managing the event with the help of female bouncers, courtesy of corporate security giant, TOPSGRUP. The Sisterhood Soiree is just the first phase in the direction of a balanced nightlife in India. With the likes of other boss lady like Sophia Sinha, of Chandon this event is sure to be a stellar success.

This event will be segmented into 3 panel discussions that highlight the major services under the bar and nightlife in India.

PANEL- 1

This will include an in-depth discussion on the trends and challenges in the Food and beverage part of the hospitality. Moderated by Shatbhi Basu – Director – Creative Consultants – STIR Academy of bartending, the speakers will include an eclectic mix of experts like:

This panel will focus its discussion on the Media and Entertainment side of the nightlife. The most demanding side of the business, this discussion will make sure to give a clear insight into the future of bar life hospitality in India. About Sisterhood Soiree

INCA welcomes the Sisterhood of Nights across the 4 cities of India. It is an initiative taken to encourage equal partnership of women in the Nightlife Industry becoming an integral part of the Nightlife fraternity and coming together to create a one of a kind events. We intend to welcome the female influencers from the Nightlife fraternity along with their friends/relatives and to celebrate a fun evening with us. The uniqueness of this evening is that the entire staff attending to the guests in any capacity would be led by women Bouncers, Waiters, Bartenders, Performers etc.. The event would be across 4 cities namely Mumbai, Delhi & Bangalore with INCA Presence to promote safe nightlife.
