Holiday Inn Chennai OMR IT Expressway appoints  Gouse Shaik as their Human Resources Manager

Stickler to the principle of running a healthy hospitality business where all the employees are content, engaged and productive; Gouse Shaik has worked in namely three pre-opening hospitality projects and has handled many end-to-end HR operations. Possessing nearly 8+ years of experience, Shaik is an expert in harnessing employee engagement and setting the foundation for great people and work culture at Holiday Inn Chennai. Encompassing the values, visions, ideals, norms, and working language, he has a knack of bringing together professionals from various diverse cultures to collaborate in harmony in order to achieve the ultimate purpose and vision of the company.

Having previously worked at a range of 5-star hotels, such as JW Marriott Mussoorie, Walnut Grove Resort & Spa, Crowne Plaza Bengaluru Electronics City, Mövenpick Hotel & Spa Bangalore, and Hyatt Hotel Corporation (Ista Hotel, Hyderabad), Shaik believes that the Human Resource Department truly develops and manages a company’s culture.

Shaik believes that a Human Resource department is often the biggest link between an organization’s management and its employees. He opines that it is the HR work that runs the full gamut, from providing consultation on strategic planning with top executives to recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new staff. Right from budgeting, to honing brand culture, brand orientation, manpower planning, industrial relation, and talent relations, Shaik believes in managing and developing a harmonious and empowering company culture.
