Sriram Ramaswamy, DoSM at Indore Marriott Hotel Boosts Brand’s Performance with Excellent Leadership Skills

 08 January 2019: National, 2019 Indore Marriott Hotel, the largest premium 5-Star Hotel in Madhya Pradesh is pleased to introduce Sriram Ramaswamy as the Director of Sales and Marketing who was associated with the hotel since the pre-opening period.

Sriram brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field of sales and marketing in the Hospitality Industry. A highly result driven professional, Sriram has been responsible for leading the teams across departments to achieve set objectives and target and develop e-marketing and sales strategies to build the brand as well as increase the revenue for the property.

Sriram Ramaswamy comes with over 15 years of rich experience in delivering optimal results for properties and business value in the Hospitality Industry. Having served in some of the leading hotels in the country, Sriram understands the nuances of the hotel businesses in India. His high degree of commitment and perseverance enabled him to achieve and set greater career goals in professional life. His strong leadership skills along with excellent managerial capabilities have proved to be a boon to the properties he has been associated with throughout his career.

He started his professional journey from Taj Lands End, Mumbai as Guest Service Executive in the year 2001 and moved to The Gateway Hotel, Mangalore as Assistant Manager Sales where he was responsible in planning and executing hotel revenue in terms of occupancy, F&B, guest loyalty programs and employee performance review. The position at Taj Group of Hotels, Resorts and Palaces as Assistant Sales Manager – National Accounts, Regional Sales Office Bangalore, gave him an opportunity to set high standards of professionalism in the hotel business and was also awarded as the “Star Performer”.

He later moved to ibis as Senior Sales Manager to build sales strategy and communication, assisted in building revenue and business performance in the local and global market. In the year 2013, he joined Sheraton Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway as an Account Director and later promoted to Director of Sales – Four Points by Sheraton Bengaluru Whitefield. Prior to joining Indore Marriott Hotel, he led Sales & Marketing department of Grand Mercure Bangalore as Director of Sales & Marketing.

Sriram’s educational background includes Bachelors in Hotel Management. He has also completed his Post Graduation from Pune University in Marketing.
