The Manganiyar Seduction is all set to perform at Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla on Friday, December 14, 2018.

The Manganiyar Seduction is a spectacular celebration of a unique genre of Indian Rajasthani Folk music, using over 43 Rajasthani Folk musicians, treating the audience to a spectacular show.

From the deserts sands of Rajasthan comes this ancient folk tribe – the Manganiyars – who for centuries have played to Kings and Palace audiences. Now in the 21st century, the Manganiyars have re-appeared, on the world’s stage as a showstopper to every major festival and national celebration. From London to Paris, New York, Sydney, Lyon, Amsterdam, and several other countries and cities, The Manganiyar Seduction has been playing to sell-out stadiums, arenas and landmark venues like the Sydney Opera House.

The show consists of 43 musicians on a stage four stories high, each man sitting in a curtained, partitioned cube. Each pod is illuminated whenever the performer joins the extended piece of music. As the ensemble grows in number and the sound gathers momentum, the skin-pricking climax is heralded by an uncomplicated but deeply effective light show as all the pods glow and dazzle.
