ITC appoints Sanjiv Puri as the New Chairman…

ITC limited (India Tobacco Company Limited) has appointed Sanjiv Puri as the new chairman of the company. Sanjiv Puri, who was previously working as the chief managing director of the company, is now the chairman and managing director of the company. The boards of directors of ITC limited at their meeting held on 13th May 2019 had decided to elevate Sanjiv Puri as the chairman of the company with immediate effect from 13th May 2019. Sanjiv Puri’s new designation is Chairman and Managing Director of the company, as per an official release by the company.

Sanjiv Puri, Chairman of ITC limited, while commenting on the development said, “It is an honour and privilege to be appointed the Chairman of ITC Ltd.
