ITDC celebrates International Day of Yoga at Hotel Ashok

June 22, 2018, New Delhi: On the occasion of International Day of Yoga, Ashok Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management, the Human Resource Development division of India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) took a step towards promoting Indian cultural heritage “Yoga” through seminars on “Meditation for Healthy & Happy Life” and ”Ways to Increase Efficiency & Be Successful” at the Ashok Hotel, flagship hotel under the aegis of ITDC.

The experiential session on ‘Mediation for Healthy & Happy Life’ was conducted by Brahma Kumaris through the implementation of yoga techniques to strengthen metaphysical self. The practical approach reflected on the essence of Yoga as unveiling the path to self-realization to be happy and healthy.

Following it was an interactive session on ‘Ways to increase efficiency & be successful’ by the renowned Shri S. C. Kishore, from M/S Kishore & Kishore. He enlightened the consciousness as he reiterated the power of positivity and self-reliance through self-discipline, meditation, and self-realization.

The session was attended by Ms. Ravneet Kaur, IAS, CMD, ITDC, Mr. Pradip Das, Director Finance, Mrs. Anita Bimal, Principal, AIHTM, & GM HRD, ITDC and senior officials of the organization.

The seminars were attended by approximately 80 officials from Delhi based units/division of ITDC.
