After the World Health Organization (WHO) had announced COVID-19 (coronavirus) as a pandemic and the cases rise to an unstoppable rate, more countries go into lockdown, to prevent it.

The latest updated numbers revealed that 169,610 people are affected by the virus and tallied 6,518 deaths. Meanwhile, 77,776 patients have recovered from the illness. Many countries began sealing their international borders in an attempt to contain the virus by lessening the movement of people. The idea of lockdown was started in Wuhan, China – the epicenter of coronavirus.

Denmark, France, Italy, Israel and Spain are some of the countries that announced a “LOCKDOWN” which restricts the travel of the people, bans all non-essential travel, close down the non-essential establishment and impose strict social distancing.

In Philippines, the National Capital Region, where its capital Manila is located, is completely sealed off and other provinces ordered partial lockdowns. Countries like Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic have close their borders to international visitors and that all non-citizens will be banned from entering.
