MP tourism celebrated World tourism day in their own victorious style

27th September, a day when the whole world was celebrating world tourism day, MP tourism too celebrated in its own victorious style. M.P tourism is receiving the award for the best tourism from last three consecutive years. On the occasion of World Tourism Day, a National Tourism Award ceremony was organized by the Union Tourism Ministry in Vigyan Bhawan, Delhi. Where MP tourism received 10 national awards for their performance in different categories.
Indore has been awarded as the cleanest city as well as Indore’s Ahilyabai Holkar airport, received National Award for Best Airport.
The English-language book, Coffee-Table published by Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board has been awarded with National Award for Excellence in publication and a prize in Hindi publication too is given to Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board for the Hindi brochures of Simhastha 2016. Along with this, the National Award for Best Wildlife Guide was given to Mr. Syb Khan of Pachmarhi and the National Award for Best Tourism-friendly Railway Station at Ujjain Railway Station. Apart from these, many more awards were given to Madhya Pradesh tourism.
These awards were given by the president of India Mr. Ramnath Kovind and Union Tourism Minister Mr. K.J. Alphons (Independent Charge). On this occasion, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Minister Shri Surender Ji Patwa (Independent Charge), President of Tourism Corporation Mr. Tapan Bhowmick, Chief Secretary Hariranjan Rao,Managing Director Ilyaya Raja, Additional Managing Director Vishwa Vallimbe were present on the occasion.
Shivraj Singh Chauhan, chief minister of Madhya Pradesh has congratulated Shri Surender Ji Patwa, Tapan Bhowmick and all the officials of MP tourism as well as the residents of Madhya Pradesh for this achievement.
