NRAI, writing the winning history under the leadership of Mr.Anurag Katriar

Mr.Anurag Katriar has received the certificate of appreciation on behalf of NRAI- National Restaurant Association of India from Hon’ble Governor, Mr Bhagat Singh Koshyari. This ceremony was held at Durbar Hall, Rajbhawan, Maharashtra.
During Corona crisis and lockdown NRAI has delivered the selfless service to the society and nation by delivering over 67 Lakh meals to poor daily wage earners and immigrants over 50 days using 37 kitchen facilities. NRAI has also provided free ration kits for almost 25 lakh meals to the displaced employees apart from cash support to another few thousand employees.

On this occasion, Mr.Anurag Katriar, President, NRAI, has applauded the humanitarian and selfless effort of the entire hospitality fraternity and mentioned ” I take this opportunity to thank all those selfless people who wholeheartedly supported the #FeedTheNeedy initiative wherein we were able to serve over 67 Lakh meals to poor daily wage earners and immigrants over 50 days using 37 kitchen facilities. We also provided free ration kits for almost 25 lakh meals to our displaced employees apart from cash support to another few thousand employees.”

Adding to his points Mr.Katriar said’This recognition is a huge morale booster to all of us and I am sure this will inspire us to do more for our fraternity, our nation and its citizens.’
In September 2019 Mr.Anurag Katriar has taken the charge of NRAI’s President and under his leadership, NRAI has taken various exceptional moves for the betterment of the fraternity.
He was the main face of the movement called #LogOut Movement, against the food aggregators application due to their unconvincing consents to the restaurants across India.
