PepsiCo VP sales Harsh Rai quits; succeeded by NourishCo MD Ajit Dheer PepsiCo VP and general manager sales Harsh Raihas quit the company, ending an over-decade-long association with the beverages and foods maker. Rai is being succeeded by Ajit Dheer, who has been managing director of the Tata-PepsiCo joint venture company NourishCo.

A PepsiCo India spokesperson confirmed the development. “Ajit Dheer, currently chief executive and managing director at NourishCo Beverages is taking over the role as VP and general manager sales, commercial unit, from Harsh Rai, in the first quarter of 2019,” the spokesperson said.

Rai, member of PepsiCo India’s executive committee since 2014, has worked across functions including general management, sales and distribution, and business model transformation, according to information on his LinkedIn account.

Dheer, with PepsiCo since 2008 across different functions, has been formerly associated with Reckitt Benckiser and Cargill India.
