Percept Activ manages the Petta Audio Launch in Chennai with Legendary superstar Rajnikanth

Percept Activ bagged the prestigious mandate of conceptualizing and executing the Petta Audio Launch with mega superstar Rajnikanth on 9 December 2018 at the Shri Sairam Engineering College in Chennai. The gala event witnessed an on-ground attendance of over 12,000 people, and was also streamed live on Sun TV to a massive audience.

Petta is a mega star cast movie featuring legendary superstar Rajnikanth, directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Sun Pictures. The director has managed to pull a casting coup with a stellar cast including Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui (making his foray into Tamil cinema), Trisha, Simran, Sasikumar, Vijay Sethupathi, Malayalam actor Manikandan R Achari and Bobby Simha. The much anticipated original soundtrack launch of Petta was held on 9th December 2018 at the Shri Sairam Engineering College in Chennai. The Petta album features tracks like Marana Mass, Ulladulla, Ilamai Thirumbudhe, Madura Petta, Petta Paraak, Singaar Singh, Aaha Kalyanam, Jithu Theme, Petta Theme, Kaali Theme, and Thappad Maara.

The entire star cast and crew were present for the mega audio launch which included Superstar Rajinikanth, Vijay Sethupathi, Anirudh, Nawazudin Siddiqui, Simran and Trisha. Producers Kalanithi Maran and his family were also present. The supporting cast of Munishkanth, Bobby Simha, Mahendran, Sasikumar, Malavika Mohan, Samantha. Anirudh Ravichandran along with the music director of the film gave a stellar performance of 3 songs along with Anthony Dassan.

The glamorous and mega setup included 4000 sq ft of LED, a massive 60 ft stage, state of the art sound and light and SFX. Over 100 international and domestic dancers gave scintillating dance performances, and 10 stunning acts spanning 5 trapeze dancers, 2 stunt acts, a wheel performer, a cube juggler, contortionists, and parkour performers coupled with larger than life properties and costumes wowed over the massive live audience present. A unique launch concept involved audience members calling a number to hear Rajinikanth’s voice announcing the launch at the other end of the line. The Petta audio launch in Chennai was a tribute to the superstar Rajinikanth and each cast member enacted a memorable scene from his films as a tribute to their icon. One of the most eagerly awaited segments of the event was Rajnikanth’s live speech which was thoroughly enjoyed and lapped up by the audience.
