Rajbari Rasoi brings Makar Sankranti special Menu

In Bengal, Makar Sankranti is known as Poush Sankaranti, an auspicious day in the yearly calendar. It’s celebrated as the harvest season of the year. Rajbari shares some authentic Bengali sweets like Nolen Gurer Payesh, doodh puli pithe, patishapta adds more flavor to the sweets this time. Patishapta is one of the famous sweet dishes prepared with milk, gur, refined flour malpua, coconut and dry fruits and is served a roll. Apart from dessert Chicken Khichuri and Mutton Khichuri is well- known cuisine on occasion of Poush Sankaranti.
