Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway welcomes Ashok Sivashankar as Director of Rooms

Bangalore, 15 November 2018:  Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway appoints Ashok Sivashankar as Director of Rooms to manage day-to-day room operations and guest relationship. Ashok comes with over 16 years of experience and has successfully carried out his responsibilities at various established hotel chains. At Sheraton Grand, he is entrusted to elevate guest experience and room operations.

Ashok’s expertise in room operations and guest relationship management has earned him many accolades over the years. His dedication and forward thinking capabilities have proved to be an asset at the previous organizations he was associated with. An individual with capabilities to manage operations all by himself, as well as guide a team of professionals to deliver to their best abilities, he continues to thrive and learn new things to up his game.

He started his career in the year 2004 with Taj Residency, Bangalore post which he moved to Chelsea Gardens Hotel Apartment, Dubai gaining global exposure. He moved back to India in 2010 and worked with hotels like The Lalit, New Delhi and The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, Hyderabad. Prior to joining Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway, he was the Rooms Division Manager at The Courtyard & Fairfield, Outer Ring Road, Bangalore.

Ashok holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science with a specialization in Hotel Management from Bharatiar University, Coimboatore. When not at work, he likes to engage in outdoor activities, cricket being his sport of choice. He also loves to read in his spare time.
