Whether you’re a budding photographer, a recipe creator, or simply a food enthusiast with a flair for #foodporn photography, there is no escaping the charm of a bright, delicious-looking dish that has been captured well! Photography need not always be an investment-intensive activity and thanks to modern technology, smartphone cameras can very easily compete with professional camera setup. Taking this a step further is ace food photographer, Assad Dadan, who will be conducting a class on food photography at The Classroom by La Folie. The session is all about making food photography less intimidating by maximising smartphone camera functionality and empowering every individual to take stunning shots using what is available to them. Participants will learn how to shoot professionally-captured images, without breaking the bank using only their smartphones. The workshop will help you grasp the various modes you can shoot images in, how to frame them, how to modify the window light, additional tips on food styling and also how to grade images in free image-editing software.
