The Byke Hospitality Ltd undertakes water conservation measures as a part of World Water Day

The Byke Suraj Plaza in Thane has come about with water recycling to store it for fire safety measures. Meanwhile, the Byke Old Anchor, Goa and the Byke Grassfield resort in Jaipur are using the recycled water for gardening purposes.

Raising awareness for all guests and staff is the need of the day. For this, they have been instructed to make optimum utilisation of water by turning off taps while not in use and making use of buckets instead of showers. Another wise measure followed is the installation of fittings which increases the force of water and reduces the flow thus saving so many gallons of water in the process. Majority of these installations are fitted in taps in staff and public areas of the Thane, Goa and Jaipur properties along with some other properties of the chain.

The hospitality chain has also planned the plantation of more than 10,000 trees in Goa, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala and Bangalore. Lifetime projects of tree plantations are carried out every year in each of the properties of the hotel chain along with their vicinity areas on various occasions.
