The iconic Rambagh Palace wins swacchta award

Lauded as the cleanest hotel in Jaipur

Rambagh Palace, Jaipur, one of the crown jewels of Taj Hotels Palaces Resorts Safaris has added yet another feather to its cap. It has bagged the award for being the Cleanest Hotel in the 5 Star Category in the city of Jaipur.

Swachhta Awards were given away by the Nagar Nigam, held at the Birla Auditorium in Jaipur after having invited applications for a cleanliness audit.  114 hotels had applied for the audit in different categories. The jury comprising of eminent architects Ar. Gyanendra Singh Shekhawat and Ar. Tushar Sogani commended Rambagh Palace for their efficient waste disposal system and impressive CSR initiatives.

The award was received on behalf of the hotel by the Area Director – Jaipur and General Manager, of Rambagh Palace,  Manish Gupta from the Minister of Urban Development and Housing, Mr. Shrichand Kriplani; Medical and Health Minister, Mr. Kalicharan Saraf as well as the Mayor of Jaipur, Mr. Ashok Lahoty. The winning hotels will get a 10% rebate for the annual Urban Development Tax.
