The Westin Pune Koregaon Park Hosts Golf Open for Corporate Biggies in Pune!

Pune, 25th February 2019: The Westin Pune Koregaon Park, the only wellness hospitality brand in Pune hosts yet another sporting event – The Westin Pune Koregaon Park Golf Open. Over the last year the hotel has taken upon itself to associate with as many sports and fitness activities as possible be it cycling, golf of running.

Recently the hotel hosted a golf tournament with all the major corporates in town at the prestigious Poona Club Golf Course. The hotel officially supports the NGO, Rising Star Outreach and the proceeds of this event were also donated to this charity.

Mr. Nasir Shaikh, General Manager, The Westin Pune Koregaon Park who is an ardent fan of this sport participated in this tournament with many other corporate bigwigs. “It was a great pleasure to see all top industrialists and corporates in Pune leave their office space behind and put their best foot forward at the golf course. I firmly believe in mixing work and sports to maintain a healthy balance in life” said Mr. Nasir Shaikh.

The winning team with Udyan Mane, Sajuvendra Sekhon, Yuiliya Ivanshyna, Tanja Kroel had a 46 Nett Score and 15 Handicap and the runners up team with Nasir Shaikh, Swastik Sirsikar, Padmanabhan and Kashish Patel had a 48 Nett Score and 15 Handicap.

The tournament was followed by an exclusive dinner and a prize distribution ceremony for all the participants, golf lovers, and many professional golf players. It also featured a heartwarming performance by the children from Rising Star Foundation. The guests enjoyed an evening of fine dining and relaxed conversations.
