Unwind Sessions with Alan & Nilotpal

Bangalore, 27 January 2020: R Bar at Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel played host to an eventful evening of premium blended scotch and sophisticated mixology with Alan Ironside, the Brand ambassador of Ballantine’s along with R Bar’s very own Bar maestro, Nilotpal Bhattacharya. The two distinct individuals share and pursue a common passion of curating exquisite cocktails & blends and indulge guests in a mesmerizing world of fine liquor & great conversations were on full display at the event.

Nilotpal Bhattacharya, fondly known as Nil among the beverage fraternity is a young, charismatic individual and on the other hand, Alan Ironside, a young dynamic personality with an eye for all things sublime put together an incredible show where Bengaluru’s who’s who were treated with bespoke craftsmanship and experience.

While Nilotpal was the inspiration for the indigenous side of things at the event, Alan brought the Scottish vibe to it. The Mixologist duo created some unique cocktails for the evening such as Ballantine’s signatures like Minit Julip, Hibiscus based cocktail, Whisky Sour, Penicillin, Stock exchange to name a few. Guests were enthralled with the unique amalgamation of Indian and Sottish blend of craftsmanship, which further unfolded into an evening of fun & frolic, good food & great whisky.
