Wazwan-e-Daawat – Kashmiri food festival at Saffron

January 27, 2020: Jaipur Marriott Hotel is hosting an authentic Kashmiri food festival ‘ Wazwan-e-Daawat ’ at our Indian restaurant, Saffron from 24th January to 5th February 2020 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Chef Tariq Ahmad is ready to take you through a remarkable 10-day culinary symphony with the authentic flavours of Kashmir along with our culinary experts. The festival is in alignment with the luxury hotel’s philosophy of offering a perfect blend with local refinement in Jaipur. The festival is being hosted at Saffron, Jaipur Marriott Hotel’s Indian signature restaurant that is known for offering a gourmet experience for connoisseurs; it features the cuisine from the regional and North-West Frontier Province of India.

Chef Tariq Ahmad is well known for preparing authentic Kashmiri cuisines and has flown into the city to stir up the palate of Jaipur Marriott’s guests. The food festival ‘Wazwan-e-Daawat’ will have some finest dishes be specially curated by renowned Wazwan chef from Kashmir that will be served throughout the meal and during the festival, especially; a theme based welcome drink on arrival and Kashmiri Kahwa. “We have organized this festival for Jaipurites to taste the authentic flavor of Wazwan cuisine said Chef Jitendra Dhaliwal, Executive chef, Jaipur Marriott Hotel.

One can choose from an array of Wazwan dishes such as Kashmiri dum aloo, Rogan Josh Gosht Yakhani shorba, Ghushtaba, Nadru Yakhani and decadent traditional desserts such as firni and halwa.
