Romy Gill, the first Indian Women to own and run a restaurant in the UK. She’s been acknowledged with one of the greatest honours granted to civilians in the UK – The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire {MBE} by Queen Elizabeth ||, during Queens Birthday Honours List. Her Restaurant name is Romy’s Kitchen opened in 2013 in Bristol. She is known for her healthy and nutritious approach to Indian cooking. She created dishes as Gurnard cooked in coconut milk with her own spice blend and Monkfish marinated in turmeric and lemon juice.
