The pilot is currently operational only across select locations in Mumbai with orders generated on the Swiggy app for Yumlane being picked and delivered by the former.

The pilot results have been encouraging for Yumlane which is looking to extend the partnership across all the cities Swiggy is present in. Yumlane is targeting a significant volume growth through this partnership with an aim to form 10% of Swiggy’s overall order volume over the next 6-9 months.

Currently, Swiggy delivers over 15 million orders per month across India.

ET reported last month that Swiggy was looking to roll out its hyperlocal delivery operations by October.

“This is a huge key account channel for Yumlane as Pizza is amongst the top 3 preferred cuisines for customers on Swiggy. We are targeting a run rate of 1 million orders per month through this partnership over the next 6-9 months,” said Hitesh Ahuja, Founder, and CEO of Yumlane.

Yumlane expects to be available across 200 pick-up points through this partnership with Swiggy.

Founded in 2016, Yumlane sells packaged food, specifically pizzas and momos in supermarkets. Yumlane currently sells through modern trade outlets in Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, and Hyderabad with a presence across over 250 retail touch points while also selling across online distribution channels.
